Alien: Isolation is dividing critics, but I loved the game and I’m actually looking forward to the DLC for this one. The first pack, Corporate Lockdown, arrives October 28th for $7.99

The pack follows Seegson exec Ransome and his attempt to escape Sevastopol in the days before Amanda Ripley arrives on the Torrens. The DLC includes three new maps–Severance, Scorched Earth and Loose Ends–that detail Ransome’s quest to square old business, evade the Alien and buy his way onto the Torrens with the Nostromo’s flight recorder data.

Four additional DLC packs will be released before March 2015, each following a different character and exploring the events that led to Sevastopol’s downfall in the main game. Isolation had a pretty strong backstory so I’m excited to see how Creative Assembly explores some of the events only hinted at in Amanda’s arc.
