Street Fighter V isn’t the only dose of fighting spirit that Capcom is taking to the PlayStation 4. It was also announced over the weekend that Ultra Street Fighter IV would also make its way to Sony’s main console. While no specific release date was given, it is targeted to release this coming Spring.

The PS4 version will be the first next-gen, console release of the next and final update to the SF4 franchise. The new version adds a large variety of balance changes and, most notably, five new characters: Rolento, Elena, Hugo, Poison, and Decapre. ALl of the characters will also include a “version select” option which allows you to select a character based on their appearances in each of their SF4 games.

It is unknown at this time if the game will be released on the Xbox One, although I would not count on it given Microsoft’s policy of games on their console not being allowed to launch on other consoles first.
