Dishonored was one of the last generation’s smash hits and just like most popular games from that era, it will soon be receiving the remastered treatment, as Dishonored: Definitive Edition, on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This will include the base game, with updated visuals, as well as all of the DLC that was released in a single package. The game is due to release in both digital and retail forms on August 25, 2015 for $39.99. However, if you happen to own the digital version on the PlayStation 3, you will be able to nab the PS4 version at a discount.

The PlayStation Network is currently offering an “upgrade preorder” option for the game, priced at $19.99. As long as you have the digital version for PS3 on your account, this pricing option should appear as available to you in the store. Perhaps the best part of all of this is that Dishonored was featured in the PlayStation Plus’ Instant Game Selection a few months back, so as long as you are a PS Plus member, and you at least added the game to your account, you can get the new version for half price.
