Dinocide heading to Steam Greenlight, demo available for download

AtomicTorch has put a new game up on Steam Greenlight today called Dinocide.  Along with this they have also released a demo for the game and I went ahead and took a look at it.  If you’re familiar with the Adventure Island series on the NES, specifically from the second game onward, you’ll feel right at home here because that’s basically what Dinocide is more or less, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The only thing I had issues with were the controls.  You can remap the buttons however you like, but the game can also work with controllers, including an Xbox 360 controller, but you can’t remap controller buttons, or at least not with a 360 controller, so if you use one the buttons might feel a bit awkward to use.  However, this is definitely a work in progress as it was just released to Steam Greenlight today, so hopefully we’ll see the ability to remap controller buttons in the future but as for the demo itself, I enjoyed it and will be keeping an eye on this one.  For more info and to download the demo, head on over to Dinocide’s website.
