The premier fighting game tournament in the United States has finally set its plans for 2016 in stone. It has been announced that the EVO Championship Series 2016 will take place in Las Vegas, NV from July 15 through July 17, 2016. This will mark the 15th year of the tournament and it has definitely grown both in size and popularity with each and every one.

Last year’s event featured the following games: Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 4 Arena Ultramax, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Tekken 7. We will probably see a few of those games returning for 2016, but should also see some new blood added to the mix with the release of Street Fighter V only a few months away and Killer Instinct, Season 3 on the horizon shortly after that.
