Is Mortal Kombat X getting "Klassic Fatality" DLC in the future?

As people may have suspected, since they did it with Injustice, it seems that Mortal Kombat X will be getting DLC that isn’t part of the Kombat Pack. The first set of those DLC costumes not part of the Kombat Pack, while not yet available, can be viewed in the Kharacter gallery in game. This skin pack is the “Kold War” pack and features Russian themed skins for Kano, Sonya, Scorpion, and Sub Zero.

Well a list of planned DLC for Mortal Kombat X was found on Steam’s AppID page and shows something interesting. If you look on the list, you’ll see all the various DLC that has been announced including Jason, Tanya, the Kold War skins, and the Horror Skins. Look further down the list and you’ll see “Klassic Fatalities 1” and “Klassic Fatalities 2”. Are we getting some Klassic Fatalities as DLC in the future? It would seem so.

The question now becomes, what Fatalities are they bringing back? I really hope we get a variety of Fatalities instead of just a whole bunch for Scorpion and Sub Zero. I also wonder what they would qualify as “Klassic”. I loved Kung Lao’s buzz saw Fatality from MK9 and love to see that one make a return along with Sonya’s Kiss of Death Fatality for the earlier games.

On a side note, there is something I am worried about. I love additional skins as DLC but I really hope they aren’t going to ignore the new characters. It’s going to be really lame if all the classic characters have 5-10 skins total and all the new characters are stuck with their 2 defaults.

Be sure to also check out Jeremy Duff’s review of the game.
