It has been a long wait for Magic the Gathering fans, such as myself, when it comes to getting our hands on this year’s edition of the MtG video game. The game has been out a few weeks for the iOS and now it is hitting the PC and Xbox One. The PC version is currently available on Steam and Xbox owners will find it on the Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow.

Magic Duels: Origins is the new free-to-play installment of what was formerly known as the Duels of the Planeswalkers. The game is still being developed by Stainless Games and features the same sleek presentation styles as the past years’ installments. The only difference this year is that every bit of content for the game will be offered free of charge, that is assuming you put in the effort and earn it all. For those who aren’t patient enough to work their way through the ranks to unlock everything, you can always throw some real money down and purchase the various cards and decks.

Expect our full review of the new vision of the series in the coming weeks.
