WWE has teamed up with NetherRealm Studios, makers of Mortal Kombat and Injustice to create WWE Immortals, a free-to-play fighting game for iOS and Android devices.

Not much is known about the game at this point but we do know that it will launch sometime in 2015.

I really wonder how this is going to play out. I am going to assume that it will play like their Injustice Mobile game and knowing NetherRealm, I can see the WWE Superstars getting crazy, super hero versions of their on screen characters. I really enjoyed the Injustice mobile game and I am one of the biggest Mortal Kombat fans out there so I am very excited to see how this plays out.

It’s a shame that WWE is a PG company. Maybe we could have gotten Bray Wyatt or Dean Ambrose as a guest character in Mortal Kombat X!
