Play out your Speed fantasies in upcoming Bus Simulator 16
Ok, I admit the upcoming Bus Simulator 16 from publisher Astragon Entertainment and developer Stillalive Studios might not have any connection to the 1994 Keanu Reeves film. None the less, eager enthusiasts of public transportation won’t have to wait much longer to put their driving skills to the test as Bus Simulator 16 is scheduled for launch on January 20, 2016 for both PC and Mac.
In the game players will drive around the virtual city of Sunny Springs and have to manage the inner workings of a public transport company by driving its various buses and planning routes. The buses that players will have the ability to drive are officially licensed from the German manufacturer MAN.
While getting citizens to their destination on time and safe is important, players will also have to pay attention to the built-in reputation system that tracks various actions from following traffic rules to arising everyday situations. I’ll be particularly interested in seeing how well the open world has been modeled in-game as well as trying out both the included single-player and multiplayer modes.
Complete details can be found on the game’s Steam page.
