Quake III Arena map gets re-imagined for Quake Champions

Gamers who played a lot of Quake III Arena back in the day might remember the map called Camping Grounds (Q3DM6).  While I was typically too busy avoiding getting blown to smithereens by my opponents to pay attention to the map itself, I’m sure I’ve had my fair share of deaths in there.  If you have fond memories of Camping Grounds, those memories might come flooding back in Quake Champions‘ Blood Covenant map.

Blood Covenant is a re-imagining of the Q3A classic map with all of your favorite sections such as the long Jump Pad to the Rocket Launcher, the Quad Damage spawn, the Railgun ledge, and the tightly spaced battles in the Pillars.  In addition, new tricks and secrets will await veterans and new players alike that will offer new ways to move, fight, and use the Champions’ abilities.  If you’d like to check out the map for yourself and just happen to be at PAX East, head on over to the Bethesda booth (#18007 and 20007).  Also, don’t forget to sign up for the closed beta at www.Quake.com.
