Sony announces price cut for PlayStation 4, now starting at $349.99

Speculation has been floating about this week after Target ads of an upcoming price cut for the PlayStation 4, well now it has been made official on the PlayStation Blog. Beginning this Friday, October 9, the PlayStation 4 will be available for the lowered price of $349.99.

In addition, a new PlayStation 4 bundle has been announced that will include Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and retail for $349.99. The other previously announced bundles for North America include:

  • Limited Edition Call of Duty: Black Ops III 1TB PS4 Bundle (11/6) – $429.99
  • Limited Edition Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars PS4 Bundle (11/13) – $399.99
  • Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle (11/17) – $399.99
  • Star Wars Battlefront PS4 Bundle (11/17) – $349.99

Following the recent announcement of the various Xbox One bundles this is shaping up to be a competitive holiday market for gamers looking to pick up a new console.
