This is a demo I’ve been waiting for. Tropico 5 will now let you sample those totalitarian, city-building goods on PlayStation 4. I’m downloading it now, so I’m not certain if the demo gives you, say, 30-minutes on the clock, or if it gives you free rein but locks down most of the menus. We’ll see.

Developer Haemimont Games also announces Tropico 5’s first expansion, Waterborne, launching next week. It introduces new gameplay features and enhancements, like water traffic, larger coastal areas, and new events to keep you on your toes. There’s an all-new six-scenario campaign, with new dialogue and story, that’ll show you what marina life is all about.

The Tropico 5 demo is out now on PS4. Waterborne will be $19.99 (ouch), launching June 17.

Here are a ton of screenshots publisher Kalypso sent over that don’t appear to have any Waterborne content.
